Description This article describes how to avoid quarantine email being released as an attachment rather than an original email from the sender when using FortiMail 365 Clawback API.
Scope FortiMail 365 Clawback API.
Solution

By default, when a quarantine email is released, FortiMail 365 Clawback API releases the quarantine email as a notification email with the original email attached as an EML file.

Upgrade to v7.4.0 and above in order to have the feature to release quarantine email as the original email itself.

Enable release of the original quarantine email by using the following CLI:

 

config cloud-api setting       set system-quarantine-release-original {enable | disable} end

 

system-quarantine-release-original is set to be disabled by default. For more details, refer to this document: cloud-api setting.
