Technical Tip: How to quarantine specific sender domain emails

This article provides an example of how to quarantine specific sender-domain emails.

Solution

 

  1. Navigate to: Policy -> Recipient Policy -> Inbound and create a new policy by selecting the button '+ New'

   2. To apply this policy to email from:

  • For a specific domain, insert the domain name (*@domain.com) into a sender pattern.

  • specific email address, insert the whole email address (user@domain.com) into a sender pattern.

     3. In the Profile section create a new AntiSpam profile by selecting the '+' button

     4. In the AntiSpam Profile select a 'Default action' (System quarantine or User quarantine).

     5. Scroll down in the AntiSpam Profile and the Scan Options section to enable 'Apply default action without scan upon policy match'.

     6. Create the AntiSpam profile and the Recipient Policy by the 'Create' button.
