Technical Tip: Disabling personal quarantine report for only one user

This article describes how to disable personal quarantine report for only one user.
Scope
FortiMail.
Solution
- Configure a new resource profile (Profile -> Resource) and disable the option 'Send quarantine report'.
- Create a new Inbound Recipient policy and add the user’s email account to recipient pattern.
- Add the new resource profile and all security profiles needed, such as the spam profile, anti virus profile, etc. to the new Inbound Recipient policy.
- Move the new Inbound Recipient policy to top of existing recipient policies that send personal quarantine report to all users. The resource profile is applied based on the Recipient pattern only. So in the example above, the new resource profile will be applied only to the recipient no_report@in.lab
