Technical Tip: Cross-searching log messages

This article describes that Cross-search is a useful tool to track any log message from a particular email.

Solution
This tool can be used from the Web interface as follows:
- From the navigation tree, go to Monitor -> Log. Select the current log file and click the View button.
- Select the search button and search by any of the different options.
- Once the email has been found, select the session ID, or 'right-click' the entry and select cross-search.
- This will display any related log with the session or message.
- 'Right-click' over the log message to export the logs for later analysis, or use the 'Export' button to export the whole Cross search log.
