Technical Note: Quarantine mail 'Release' button on Webmail GUI does not release mail
Description
This article how to release quarantined mail by clicking the 'Release' button on the Webmail GUI when the FortiMail is configured to quarantine a mail (personal quarantine) through a content profile.
Solution
To enable the release function on the Webmail GUI for a quarantined mail being quarantined by Content Profile, configure the FortiMail as follows:
1) Create AntiSpam Action Profile then check "Personal quarantine" and "Web release".
2) Create AntiSpam Profile and apply the AntiSpam Action Profile created in step (1) as the Default Action. No other parameters need to be configured.
3) Apply the AntiSpam Policy created in step (2) to the Policy (IP or Recipient Policy) being applied to the Content Profile.
