Technical Note: What is the difference between an AI alert and a FortiInsight policy alert
Description
FortiInsight generates two types of alerts: Policy Alerts and AI Alerts. Both can be viewed in the FortiInsight console.
Policy Alerts
If an event meets the conditions you have defined in a policy, an alert is fired.
AI Alerts
If AI detects anomalous behaviour based on an event(s), and any tags you have defined, an alert is fired.
