Technical Tip: Enable RSS feed updates in Microsoft Outlook

| Solution | Some Fortinet RSS feeds can be updated with new revisions. For example, FortiGuard PSIRT updates (https://filestore.fortinet.com/fortiguard/rss/ir.xml) could be updated with new information.

By default, Microsoft Outlook will not show updated feed information. To change this behavior, go to File, Options, Advanced. Check the box 'Any RSS Feed that is updated appears as new'.
Once doing that, any updated PSIRT advisory will show up as an unread message.
In the example below, it is possible to see the initial PSIRT advisory was published on August 13 and was then updated on November 12.
