Technical Tip: No VDOM Logs in FortiGate Cloud

Description This article describes the behavior of FortiGate Cloud's new portal on VDOM logs/reports.
Scope FortiGate Cloud v25.2.
Solution

The current FortiGate Cloud does not support VDOM logs. 


As of now, the report generated by FortiGate Cloud will only have output for the root VDOM.   However, it is possible to view logs/generate the report with vdom by using the legacy portal.  To change to the legacy portal, toggle Legacy Portal in Administration -> User settings. 

 

If the option is not visible, reach out to TAC support and ask for assistance.

Once on the legacy portal, it is possible to schedule a report with VDOM.

As well as view logs per VDOM under Assets -> Select Device -> Device View -> Logview -> Select VDom.
