Description This article describes how to resolve an issue when FortiGate appears offline and inaccessible from the FortiExplorer App.
Scope FortiGate, FortiExplorer.
Solution

The expected behavior of the FortiExplorer APP is that upon logging in, the "My Fabric" page displays all registered FortiGate units, which are accessible.

  1. If a FortiGate unit is listed but appears offline and inaccessible due to a recent firmware upgrade, it is essential to verify whether the FortiGate is registered with the appropriate FortiCloud account on the FortiGate Dashboard page.

  1. If the unit is registered but the management tunnel is reported as down in the FortiCloud account, it becomes necessary to troubleshoot and resolve the management tunnel issues.

  1. Once the management connectivity status in the FortiCloud account indicates 'UP,' the FortiExplorer APP will reflect the FortiGate as online. At this point, accessing FortiGate through the FortiExplorer APP should function as expected (refer to the attached details).
