| Based on the picture and CLI outputs below, no SFP is plugged in, yet the link status is shown as Up. Additionally, on the FortiGate, the port's LED appears green even though nothing is connected to the port.
Note 1: In some cases, the port flaps are permanently down. Note 2: To reboot the device may return to normal, but after some time, the issue automatically reappears. FGT_A # get system interface transceiver x7

There will be no fix for firmware v7.2. The issue can be fixed by upgrading to the FortiOS versions 7.4.8 or 7.6.5. |
