| Solution | In some scenarios, when trying to update an unauthorized managed FortiSwitch an error 'Permission denied' is displayed. The name change will take effect though the error is displayed on the webpage.
Alternatively, renaming the FortiSwitch through the CLI will update the name without any error:
config switch-controller managed-switch end
