Troubleshooting Tip: LLDP neighbors not visible on FortiGate G-series models

| Solution | On FortiGate G-series models (such as FortiGate 90G and 120G) running FortiOS 7.2.10, LLDP neighbors are not displayed when using the following command:
diagnose lldprx neighbor
No LLDP neighbor information appears, even when LLDP reception/transmission is enabled on the relevant interfaces and connected devices are sending LLDP packets. Restarting or killing the LLDP-related processes does not resolve the issue.
Upon running diagnose lldprx stats, the LLDP scanner fails to start. The failure occurs because the SECCOMP (secure computing mode) list cannot be installed.
No effective workaround exists (restarting processes or services does not help). The recommended action is to upgrade to a fixed version. In particular, upgrade to FortiOS 7.2.11 (or above), where this issue is resolved. |
