Description This article explains why joining as a domain user can often resolve white page issues on a portal when the white page is not due to a certificate, web filter, or app control issue on a FortiGate.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution
  1. Check that the certificate of the website has not expired and is trusted by the browser.
  2. Check that the website is not blocked by a web filter or app control.
  3. White page issues can be fixed by signing up as a domain user:
Centralized Verification: A centralized Active Directory domain, which offers a single point of authentication for numerous apps and resources, is used to manage domain users.
  4. Portal Compatibility: A lot of applications and portals are made to function with domain authentication, depending on it to manage user access.

The white page is encountered when the user joins in as a local user and not a domain user.
