Description This article describes how to check the image list available from FortiGuard (FDS) for use in upgrading or downgrading firmware on a FortiGate-6000F via the CLI.
Scope FortiGate, FortiGuard.
Solution

To check the list of firmware images available from FDS on the FortiGate-6000F, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Connect to the Management Board (MBD).

Each FPC and the MBD will list the compatible firmware images retrieved from FDS.

Notes:

  • Ensure the FortiGate-6000F can connect to FortiGuard (FDS) to retrieve the image list.
  • Access permissions or network policies may block the retrieval if not properly configured.
