| Solution | Traffic passing through DP may go into a hung state if it is not able to load balance.
Error 'DP channel x possible hung!' indicates that the FortiGate's internal monitoring logic has detected that one of the hardware datapath channels (numbered, e.g., DP channel 0, DP channel 3, etc.) appears to be stuck/unresponsive/not progressing packets for a short time.
Collect the output of the following commands multiple times:
diagnose load-balance dp focus-port all diagnose load-balance status
Workaround: If the units are in HA, perform a failover and reboot the device.
Note: It is recommended to upgrade the device to the latest release. This error is observed while running on older OS versions. |
