Description This article describes an issue where attempting to create or add IP Address Assignment Rules under the DHCP Server via the GUI results in the error 'Invalid DHCP range. Start address is greater than end address.'
Scope FortiGate v7.6.0.
Solution

The error 'Invalid DHCP range. Start address is greater than end address.' occurs when attempting to create or add IP Address Assignment Rules under DHCP Server via GUI.

This issue has been resolved in FortiOS version 7.6.1.


Workaround: Use CLI to add the IP assignment rule rule.
