Description This article describes a call forwarding issue where traffic from a landline/IP phone is not being forwarded to a mobile number through FortiGate.

Solution

To troubleshoot the call forwarding issue, follow these steps:

  • Go to the FortiGate and run the command execute diagnose sys session list to view the current sessions.
  • Check the session list for any errors or dropped packets that may be causing the call forwarding issue.
  • Run the command exec diagnose sys session filter dst <VIP_IP> to filter the sessions by destination IP address.
  • Analyze the filtered session list to identify any potential issues with the call forwarding configuration.
  • Verify that the call forwarding configuration is correct and that the FortiGate is properly configured to forward calls to the mobile number.
