| Solution | To register a FortiFone or softphone application extension to FortiVoice hosted behind the firewall, it is important to allocate a license.
Step 1: Log in to the FortiVoice dashboard using admin credentials. Step 2: Go under Extension-> IP extension-> Device Setting-> License Allocation and enter the number of seat allocations.
Note: Depending upon the application to be used on different devices. For eg, If the user wants to use the FortiFone application on a desktop and personal PC, the number of license allocations will be 2. |
