Technicalt Tip: Force password for FortiClient to disconnect from EMS
Description
This article provides the information to force the password for the Forticlient to disconnect from EMS.
Solution
Many of the configuration options are only available for Windows, macOS, and Linux profiles.
In the local profiles, force the Password for the Forticlient to prompt is possible when it tries to disconnect from connected EMS.
For EMS 6.0 and later .
Go to Endpoint profiles -> Local Profiles, select the particular profile -> System Setting, enable the option 'required password to disconnect from EMS'.
Once it is enabled, enter a password.
The endpoint user has to enter this password to disconnect FortiClient from EMS.
