Technical Tip: ZTNA Web Portal does not apply keyboard layout configured in RDP bookmark

Description

This article describes an issue where the keyboard layout defined in a ZTNA bookmark is ignored when accessing an RDP session via the ZTNA web portal in v7.6.6. As a result, the remote host session defaults to using only the United States keyboard layout.

FortiGate, FortiOS v7.6.6, ZTNA Agentless.

Solution

Although the Italian keyboard layout was configured, the ZTNA web portal still displays the US keyboard layout. The same behavior is also observed during the RDP session:
