Technical Tip: ZTNA Agentless not working properly on 90G devices in v7.6.x

Description This article describes ZTNA agentless issues on 90G devices in v7.6.x.
Scope FortiGate 90G, ZTNA Agentless.
Solution

The ZTNA web portal allows users to access applications without needing to install FortiClient or use a client certificate. It verifies the user identity and permissions before allowing access to protected resources.

This feature is not working on 90G devices in v7.6.1 through v7.6.3. It is resolved in v7.6.4 (already available) and 8.0.0 (supposed to be released in March 2026).

 

A few examples:

  1. In v7.6.1 and v7.6.2, when the user tries to establish an RDP connection, a black screen is presented:

  1. In v7.6.3, after entering the credentials to access the ZTNA portal, the user is redirected to a page with the information 'The requested URL was not found on this server':
