Technical Tip: Windows 11 is unable to run FortiClient with JavaScript error

This article describes that Windows 11 PRO has issue to load FortiClient with 'A JavaScript error occurred in the main process' and how to fix it.

The below message is appearing:

Uncaught Exception:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'Tracelog' of null 

To fix the issue:

1) Uninstall FortiClient.
2) Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++.
3) Reboot PC.
4) Reinstall FortiClient.
5) Reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015, 2017 or 2019.
