But it does not mention the reaction time when the interface (that is configured as fail-alert-interface) will go down after the main interface is down.
2) A test in the lab has been done and the reaction time was about 2 seconds when the interface's state changed from UP to DOWN, and was about 1 second when the status changed from DOWN to UP.
