Technical Tip: What is the meaning of 'Interface [interface name] is brought [up|down]' in crashlog?

Description

 
This article describes that when the Administrative Status of Network Interface is changed, 'Interface [interface name] is brought [up|down]' is recorded in the crash log. The same logs can be observed when a reboot is executed on the FortiGate.

Commands:
 
config system interface
    edit [interface_name]
        set status (down | up) <--- Administrative Status.
    next
end
