Description

This article explains WCCP support on FortiGate / FortiOS.

Scope

FortiOS 4.0 and above.

Solution

FortiGate units support WCCP (Web Cache Communication Protocol)  since FortiOS 4.0.
As a WCCP router, a FortiGate unit can redirect HTTP traffic to WCCP cache engines (web caches).
