Technical Tip: VM shows 'License status: Invalid Copy'

| Solution | When in the output of the command 'get system status' the License Status shows 'Invalid Copy', check on the visualization software to manually assign a UUID.
UUID is a unique ID generated by a VM instance
diag hard sysinfo vm full
UUID: 00000000000000000000000000000000
Check what UUID assigned to the VM
Wait for 24 hours as the license server may show an Invalid Copy license if the same license is used in multiple devices.
Once new VMs are deployed, use the below commands to verify the UUID.
diag hard sysinfo vm full |
