| Solution | Starting FortiOS v6.4.3, the FGT_VM64_AZUREONDEMAND image is no longer provided. Both Azure PAYG and Azure BYOL models will share the same 'FGT_VM64_AZURE' image for upgrade and new deployment.
AZUREONDEMAND model with firmware before 6.4.2 should be upgraded using FG-VM64-AZUREONDEMAND image downloadable at support.fortinet.com. Remember to back up the FortiGate configuration and follow the upgrade path.

Once done upgrading the Azure-on-Demand VM to firmware 6.4.2, the VM instances can be upgraded to 6.4.3 and beyond using the FGT_VM64_AZURE firmware image downloadable at support.fortinet.com. Upgrading the VM instance with the new image will convert the VM. |
