Description

This article describes post upgrading FortiGate could see message 'Upgrade Incomplete' in the Fabric Management page.

Scope FortiGate.
Solution
  • Verify whether the FortiGate status and the device show a completed upgrade to the desired firmware version.

 

get system status 

 

Example output:

 

Version: FortiGate-VM64-KVM v7.2.8,build1639,240313 (GA.M)
Security Level: 1
Firmware Signature: certified

 

  • If the device is in HA, verify HA status between both devices and any sync errors.

 

get system ha status 

 

  • Verify if there are any configuration error messages

 

diagnose debug config-error-log read

 

If all of the settings are working as expected, cancel the error message: 

System -> Fabric Management -> Select the device and choose 'cancel'. The error message will be removed.

 

If it persists: clear the browser cache and cookies, try another browser, or use incognito mode.
