Technical Tip: Unable to scroll in the ISDB objects with a large number of entries

Description

This article describes a known issue that users might encounter with the web GUI where the scrolling partially works for the ISDB objects with a large number of entries specifically for the Malicious-Malicious.server ISDB object.
Scope  FortiOS 7.6.1 or earlier.
Solution

To demonstrate follow the below steps:

  • Navigate to Policy & Objects -> Internet Service Database -> Malicious-Malicious.server.
  • Hover over Malicious-Malicious.server and select View/Edit Entries.
  • The issue differs based on the browsers.

 

In Chrome:

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the list and it only goes a certain percentage and does not load further than that.

In Firefox:

  • Scrolling works partially in Firefox and the scroll percentage does not increase.

The Fortinet development team is investigating this as part of the known issue#853352. This issue should be resolved in the upcoming v7.6.4
