Description

This article describes an issue where an Anti-virus security profile cannot be created via the GUI on the lower-end models with 2GB RAM post firmware upgrade to v7.6.1.
Scope

FortiGate v7.6.1.
Solution

Anti-Virus security profile cannot be created via the GUI on devices with 2GB RAM, particularly on lower-end models with the below errors.

This issue has been resolved in FortiOS version 7.6.3.

 

Workaround:

Configure the Anti-virus security profile using the CLI option.

config antivirus profile

 

Logs required by FortiGate TAC for investigation.

 

  1. Debugs:

 

diagnose debug application httpsd -1

diagnose debug console timestamp enable

diagnose debug enable

 

Reproduce the issue.

 

diagnose debug reset

 

  1. TAC Report:


    execute tac report

  2. Configuration file of the FortiGate.
