Technical Tip: SD-WAN Performance SLA members appear down in GUI if link status check interval is long

| Scope | FortiGate v7.4, v7.6, and earlier. |
| Solution | In affected firmware versions, configuring the Performance SLA Link Status Check Interval to 5000 milliseconds or greater may result in a cosmetic issue where all SD-WAN SLA members appear down even though the health checks continue to function normally and receive expected responses within the probe timeout interval.
An informational message stating 'All participants of <Performance SLA Name> are down' may be displayed as shown in the screenshot above, even though internet destinations remain reachable from the FortiGate and for users behind it.
This issue is tracked as internal ID# 1167276 and is scheduled for fix in firmware versions 7.4.10, v7.6.4, and v8.0.0 (refer to the Release Notes for more information).
Workaround: To avoid triggering this display issue, configure the Link Status Check Interval to a value below 5000ms (though going further down to 1000ms is recommended).
