Technical Tip: One-version offset introduced in FortiGate 7.4.3 with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer

Description

This article describes the One-version offset introduced in FortiGate v7.4.3 with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

Scope

FortiGate v7.4.3 and above.

Solution

Shortly after the release of FortiOS v7.4.2, FortiOS v7.4.3 was released to address several High/Critical severity vulnerabilities:

• FG-IR-23-460
  
• FG-IR-24-015
  
• FG-IR-24-029

Since these issues did not impact FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer, no corresponding releases were made for those products at that time.

Therefore, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer versions ceased to align after FortiGate v7.4.3.
