Technical Tip: How to upgrade firewall if VDOM is enabled

There is speculation that if VDOM is enabled, it needs to upgrade the firmware to the specific VDOM and it does not apply to all VDOMs.

Firmware is based on the hardware and virtual appliance, not on the VDOM base, so the upgrade option will be available in global VDOM only which is applicable for global change.

To upgrade the firmware when VDOM is enabled, enter the global VDOM, navigate to System -> Firmware & registration, and follow the normal upgrade process.
