Technical Tip: How to tune Maximum Numbers per-VDOM

Solution

On a FortiGate, it is possible to configure Global VDOM guaranteed maximum values under System -> Global Resources.

The view is as follows, on v7.6.6:

Tuning the guaranteed value to each VDOM is only possible via the CLI:

config global
    config system vdom-property

        edit A

            set description Sessions

            set session 15000 0

        next

    end
