This article describes how to secure logins from admin users.

Solution
To be safe against vulnerable attacks of scripts that hackers apply, create the following recommendations to create a better admin user and password:

1) Change user like 'admin', 'root', 'administrator' to 'ADMIN05MEX', 'ADMIN23EUA', 'ADMIN67BRA' and set or choose the nomenclature as you prefer.

2) Select passwords with at least 12 characters including uppercase lowercase, numbers and also special characters.
Use free websites to create strong passwords like https://strongpasswordgenerator.com/ and http://passwordsgenerator.net/

3) Configure administrator access to a FortiGate using trusted hosts.
Define trusted hosts by going to System -> Admin -> Administrators.
