Technical Tip: How to remove FortiGate GUI notification 'FortiConverter Migration Complete'

This article describes how to remove the 'FortiConverter Migration complete' notification from the FortiGate GUI after using FortiConverter.

Solution

When an Administrator has previously used FortiConverter, a notification regarding the migration completion may be prompted from the FortiGate GUI.

This may cause an issue, especially if the Administrator won't be using the migrated configuration due to some network changes.

When the notification is selected, the only options available are 'Download', 'Apply Migrated config', and 'Close'. This does not give the Administrator the ability to remove the notification and may accidentally apply the migrated config.
