Technical Tip: How to find firmware image checksums
Description
This article describes how to find firmware image checksums.
Solution
The MD5 checksums for all Fortinet software and firmware releases are available at the Customer Service & Support portal, https://support.fortinet.com.
After logging in, there are two ways to download the checksums.
1) Option 1 :
Go to Support -> Download menu, select Firmware Image Checksums, enter the image file name including the extension, and select 'Get Checksum Code'.
2) Option 2:
Go to Support -> Download menu, select Firmware Download.
Check that Select Product is FortiGate and select the Download tab.
Open the respective firmware file path and select the firmware for the FortiGate unit, select the 'Checksum' hyperlink to Get Checksum Code.
