Technical Tip: How to download database from the support portal and upgrade them on FortiGate

Description This article describes downloading the database from the support portal.
Scope FortiGate.
Solution

Login to the FortiGate support portal.

Select Support, and navigate to service updates.

Go to the device.

Select the files to download and upgrade them on FortiGate.

Note:

For a Microsoft Azure On-Demand user that does not have a physical FortiGate license, there will be no Service Updates available in the portal. Open a TAC ticket at https://support.fortinet.com/ to request the relevant database.
