Technical Tip: How to check the System Part Number

In some cases, it is necessary to provide the system part number to the TAC Support for RMA purposes. To get the FortiGate part number, use this CLI command can use to obtain: 

get system status

Based on the example output, the System Part-Number is P17455-03.

Alternatively, this information can also be obtained in the debug log report and the CLI command 'exec tac report' output. 

Note:

System Part Number information will also be present when doing the HQIP test.
