Technical Tip: How to add a newly purchased FortiToken Mobile - FortiGate

This article describes how to add a newly purchased FortiToken Mobile into FortiGate.

Solution
Important note: Ensure the license file is already present. Otherwise, check with a local Fortinet partner or local Fortinet sales team:
- Login to the FortiGate from the GUI. Access User & Authentication -> FortiToken -> Create new -> Mobile Token.
- The activation code is from the license file.
Key in the activation code stated from the above screen-shot.
Take note that 'Serial Number' is not the activation code.
- Once the activation code is successful, the FortiToken Mobile will appear under GUI.
Note: When entering the 20 digit activation code, it is important to enter it in the same format as it is shown in the certificate file, including uppercase and '-'. Otherwise, 'Internal server error' message will pop up at the bottom of the screen.
