Technical Tip: FortiView source: device column does not display the 'Hostname'

| Solution | It occurs following the upgrade to firmware v7.6.3. Navigate to Dashboard and then select FortiView Sources.
After upgrading to v7.6.3, the MAC address is displayed.
This behavior is by design in v7.6.3 and later. FortiView now displays the MAC address instead of the hostname under the device column. However, the hostname and other device information can still be viewed when hovering over the value. |
