Technical Tip: FortiGuard Pre-configured category-based filters Supported Model in web-filter

This article describes that web-filter FortiGuard pre-configured and category-based filters are configured under Parental control.

This allows highest-rated content-based filtering for the users based on the people's age group.

Custom- As per customer requirement Category can be selected.

G – General Audiences: All ages admitted. Nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children.

PG-13 – Parents Strongly Cautioned: Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.

R – Restricted: Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian.

FortiGuard Pre-configured category-based filters are available on for Desktop model only ( Low end Model).

It is possible to confirm the FortiGate is desktop model or not in Datasheet of each Model.
