Description This article describes how to enable the log Rate' widget in GUI and its purpose.

Solution

Log Rate Widget:

To enable the 'log Rate' widget in the GUI, configure as follows:

  • Go to the Dashboard.

  • Add a dashboard for 'Log Rate' using the '+' button.

  • Add the widget 'Log rate' under Resource Usage.

  • The Log Rate widget will show the value in real-time.

Log Rate refers to the number of logs that are being established per unit of time. As per the graph, it will show the current logs/s per second and where the logs are stored. In this example, the logs are stored in Disk.

 

'0/s' means that there have been no additional logs during the specified period.

 

It is important to monitor the workload of the device, which can affect its performance. It helps in understanding how many new connections are being initiated within a specific timeframe, which is crucial for network management.
