Description This article describes how to fix the error message 'FAILED TO LOAD DEVICE – Your account subscription reached limit' displayed in FortiExplorer when trying to manage more than two FortiGates.

Solution

The message 'FAILED TO LOAD DEVICE – Your account subscription reached limit' indicates that the free version of FortiExplorer is being used. This version supports managing up to two FortiGates.

 

To manage additional FortiGate devices and unlock advanced features, it is necessary to upgrade to FortiExplorer Pro.

 

To upgrade to FortiExplorer Pro:

  1. In the FortiExplorer application, go to Settings.
  2. Tap Manage Subscription.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate FortiExplorer Pro.

 

Once the upgrade is complete, it will be possible to add and manage unlimited FortiGates, and to download firmware images for devices with active licenses.
