Description This article describes an issue where the FortiAP registration status is shown incorrectly as 'not registered' under System -> Firmware & Registration and Security Fabric -> Fabric Connectors after the upgrade.
Scope FortiOS v7.4.5, v7.4.6, v7.4.7, v7.4.8, v7.4.9.
Solution

After upgrading to the above-mentioned versions, FortiAP registration status is displayed incorrectly as 'not registered'. The AP’s functionality is unaffected, and it continues to pass traffic for all wireless users.

FortiAP will temporarily display the correct registered status when 'Refresh Registration' is selected.

However, after reloading the GUI page, the status reverts to 'Not Registered'.

While maintaining in the same page and selecting 'Refresh Registration' for the selected FortiAP, the registration status will become registered.

This issue has been resolved in v7.4.10 (Bug ID: 1214109 Release Note 7.4.10).
