Technical Tip: Enable OKC for Wireless network protection

This article describes how to enable the OKC for wireless network protection.

OKC option is not available by default.

Solution

To enable the OKC for the wireless access point, the security of VAP needs to be set to any enterprise-level security mode.

Supported enterprise security modes are:

wpa-enterprise

wpa2-only-enterprise

wpa3-enterprise

wpa3-only-enterprise

wpa3-enterprise-transition

Use the following command to enable it:

# config wireless-controller vap

    edit <vap_name>

        set security wpa-enterprise

        set okc enable

    next
