Technical Tip: DDNS Menu not available in GUI

FortiOS provides the ability to configure FortiGuard's own DDNS services. The menu should be configurable under
Network -> DNS -> FortiGuard DDNS.

FortiGuard DDNS menu is only available in GUI if FortiGuard DNS is used, if DNS is configured as custom, GUI hides automatically.

Additionally, this menu is also not available on high-end appliances, FortiGate_VM, or transparent mode.

Fortiguard DDNS is still available to configure in CLI:

config system ddns

edit <1>

set ddns-server FortiGuardDDNS

set ddns-domain "YourDDomain.[fortiddns.com] or [fortidyndns] or [float-zone.com]"

set monitor-interface "wan1"
