Technical Tip: Data Leak Prevention and File filter

Description
This article describes how the DLP feature is no longer configurable through the web interface/GUI with FortiOs 6.2.2.

Solution
The option to filter files based on their type has been moved to the web filter profile section under File Filter.

The feature allows for inspection of HTTP and FTP traffic.

All other type of filtering [based on file size or content] is now configurable only through the CLI.
