Technical Tip: Customize log field in GUI

| Solution | Go to Log & Report -> Forward Traffic', move the mouse pointer to the 'Data/Time' column and the 'Configure Table' setting button will be prompted out as shown in the screenshot below.
Select the 'Configure Table' button, and it will be possible to customize the log field, and selected log field columns will only be prompted out after selecting 'Apply'.
Note: Changing log field names directly on a FortiGate or FortiGate-VM is not supported, as FortiOS relies on a predefined logging structure. The field names are standardized and cannot be modified within the device. |
