Description

This article provides CLI commands to fetch information about the status of the FortiGuard service.

Scope

FortiGate.

Solution

The following command returns information about the status of the FortiGuard service, including the name, version, last update, method used for the last update, and when the service expires.

get system fortiguard-service status

Use the below command to display detailed information about the service details for various update objects such as antivirus Engine, Antivirus Definitions, IPS Engine, Attack Definitions, ISDB, and other FortiGuard services.

diagnose autoupdate versions
